The Giorgi Fremer-Yakobashvili Foundation

Two years have passed since our 2010 alumnus, Giorgi Fremer-Yakobashvili, is no longer with us. We all deeply miss his exceptional kindness, determination, and the warmth he always showed to everyone; however, his name and values remain an integral part of our school’s daily life.
The Giorgi Fremer-Yakobasvhili Foundation, established by Giorgi’s family in 2025, continues its mission to support talented and motivated students at the American Academy.
The fund's reach has expanded even further: with the special support of Giorgi’s family and the meaningful contributions made by his classmates (Class of 2010), three additional ninth-graders received the scholarship this year, bringing the total number of funded students to six.
We would like to thank Giorgi’s family and the Class of 2010 for supporting future generations. We also congratulate the new recipients on this outstanding opportunity and are confident that they will make the most of this support as they pursue their goals.
