"Key Club" at the American Academy: Supporting Vulnerable Communities

November 18, 2024

Last year, one of our senior students, Anastasia Mrelashvili, founded the "Key Club" at the American Academy, making it the first representation of this international organization in Georgia.  Its primary mission is to assist socially vulnerable individuals and contribute to improving their lives.

Today, "Key Club" is the fastest-growing club in the school, with membership already exceeding 100 students.

On October 22, the club organized a charity event, the "Bake and Crafts Sale," at the school. With the funds raised, club members visited the Rainbow Children's home on November 8, which takes care of socially vulnerable children. The American Academy students presented the children with toys, books, and food, including pizza and donuts, bringing joy and warmth to their day and making it truly special.
